Aleco Automotive is a high-precision technical services workshop based on Armstrong Street in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. We exist for drivers who want their vehicles diagnosed, serviced and secured by specialists — not guessed at by generalists. Every car that enters our bay is treated as a complex organism of data, mechanical finesse and embedded security, and every job is carried out with surgical accuracy by technicians who live and breathe automotive electronics.

Our core capabilities span six disciplines. We cut and clone laser and transponder car keys to OEM biting tolerances, covering all makes including dealer-level smart and remote keys. Our OBD-II diagnostics interrogate live data streams to read, decode and resolve fault codes at source — not just clear the light. We write Stage 1, 2 and 3 performance and economy ECU remaps, with original maps backed up and stored for full reversibility. Our dealer entry tools handle immobiliser PIN reading, key learning, remote sync, module adaptation and all-keys-lost recovery without the dealership price tag. We recharge R134a and R1234yf air conditioning systems with UV leak detection and pressure optimisation, and we print road-legal BSAU 145e number plates on site while you wait.

We operate Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and Saturday 08:00–18:00, with no appointment needed for aircon regassing and number plate printing.
